Honored as Most Transformational Cloud Enterprise Architect of the Year – 2025

Hitesh Jodhavat

Hitesh Jodhavat is a visionary enterprise architect who has reshaped how cloud systems perform and scale across some of the world’s biggest technology and finance companies. He has also been honored as the “Most Transformational Cloud Enterprise Architect of the Year – 2025” by CToday Awards. With a passion for efficiency, reliability, and impact, he has led major transformations in cloud performance at Oracle, Accenture, Infosys, and TCS over the last two decades.

Early Career and Defining Moments

Hitesh began his journey by building reliable middleware systems at Infosys and TCS. His experience in delivering strong, fast systems established a strong foundation. At Accenture, he took on a leadership role, heading the Performance Diagnostics vertical for a 250+ member global team. He worked with Fortune 500 clients like JPMorgan Chase, Shell, and Target, helping them recover from performance challenges. A key milestone came after the 2014 cyberattack on JPMorgan. Hitesh led the performance engineering for the rebuilt Seurat 3.0 banking system. His use of micro-benchmarking, diagnostic tools, and proactive monitoring created a model for compliance-ready, resilient systems.

Redefining Cloud Excellence: Hitesh’s Impact at Oracle

Currently, as Cloud Performance Architect at Oracle, Hitesh focuses on two major products: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS). At OIC, he led a multi-year transformation into a scalable, multi-tenant platform. His tuning of microservices, compute, storage, and databases resulted in over 85% cost savings, including 97% on databases and 78% on VMs. This work played a key role in Oracle being named a Leader in the 2023 Gartner Magic Quadrant for iPaaS. For IDCS, used by over 9 million college entrance test users globally, Hitesh improved performance through end-to-end benchmarking, memory tuning, and observability. His work helped maintain sub-200ms latency, even under high demand from cities like San Francisco and national testing centers.

Built on Purpose: The Guiding Principles Behind the Leadership

Hitesh is guided by two core principles: continuous learning and performance-driven development. Whether it’s mastering Kubernetes autoscaling or creating dashboards with Prometheus and Grafana, he believes in constantly upgrading skills. As a leader, he focuses on mentorship, empowering engineers, and aligning systems with real business goals. He values measurable impact from reducing transaction processing times to saving millions in computing costs.

Recognition and Vision for the Future

In 2025, Hitesh received recognition for his award-winning ICMR paper on scalable cloud architecture, which successfully bridged academic research with real-world application.

Looking ahead, Hitesh sees a future driven by automatic cloud performance. He believes AI will become the backbone of infrastructure, predicting failures, self-healing systems, and dynamically balancing workloads across hybrid environments. With the rise of edge computing and multi-cloud adoption, he sees a deeper convergence of security and performance, where real-time observability is embedded at every layer of the tech stack.

Advice for Young Professionals

Hitesh encourages aspiring professionals to build strong foundations in networking, operating systems, and cloud architecture. He advises solving real problems, not just learning tools. He also recommends writing, speaking, and mentoring to grow professionally. Most importantly, he encourages young engineers to focus on creating real impact, turning performance improvements into meaningful business results.
