His vision is a promise to use technology for development while upholding a robust ethical foundation.

Words of Wisdom: Advice for Young Professionals

Loukas encourages young professionals to adopt innovation and ownership since businesses prosper when they encourage inquiry and ownership. He emphasizes that strategy must be balanced with execution, since vision without action is futile, and execution without vision goes astray. Emotional intelligence (EQ) is more valuable than IQ, he says, since success hinges on collaboration, teamwork, and communication. He also emphasizes that effective leadership involves making hard choices with compassion, as tough decisions tend to characterize great leaders. Finally, he urges professionals to be risky and learn from failure, convinced that it is always preferable to attempt and fail rather than not attempt at all.
